Step 1
Complete the applications forms:
Application 1 for your firm.
Application 2 for each person who is going to advise, or is an owner or controller of the firm.
Step 2
Submit the applications to MBSL
We will then undertake our due diligence, including references and credit checks.
Step 3
Undertake the MBSL induction
After having paid us the refundable £150 fee
This is a four day course which will give you all the information you need to submit business under MBSL.
We will submit the correct forms to the FSA and monitor the FSA website for when you 'go live' with MBSL.
A 'Welcome Pack' is sent to you with all the software you need to start your business as an Appointed Representative of MBSL.
MBSL inform the Insurance Providers of a new Appointed Representative and they generate the necessary agency codes.

The joining process usually takes between 6 and 8 weeks. We are very careful who we invite to join MBSL, as we recognise that the strength of our network lies in the quality of our members. This care is demonstrated by our due diligence, but it can take a few days longer than other networks.
